Following the governments announcement on Sunday regarding the Covid-19 lockdown, It has become apparent that it is unlikely that social distancing rules will be waived any time soon and certainly not in time for this years show.
Brighton Breeze is an open road event and it would be impossible to implement social distancing on Madeira Drive and would be impractical to have traders trading, The show has many regular visitors from Europe who would be unable to attend so we would not be able to put on the fabulous show as we all know it.
We have taken the very difficult decision today to postpone the event to 2021 when Brighton Breeze will be back with vengeance.
We hope you will understand, your safety is our main priority and we want to deliver a top quality uncompromised VW show.
We look forward to seeing you in 2021, keep an eye on facebook and the Brighton Breeze website for details of next years show.

Brighton Breeze Club Displays
Club displays will be voted on by the public NOT the Split Screen Van Club. The idea is to impress the visitors on the day, and there is a Best Club Display trophy to be won.
It’s not necessarily about the VWs, this is after all Brighton, where anything goes!!!
If you think that dressing up as pirates, minions, or nuns and vicars will impress then DO IT!!!
Unfortunately there has to be some rules.
Clubs need to book their space with Jamie in advance, there is no additional charge or discount for club members, every vehicle must have an appropriate ticket bought in advance.
Each club must provide their own marshal, who will be responsible for the parking up of their club within their allotted space and their clubs behaviour on the day.
All themed displays must be non-offensive to anyone, regardless of race, religion or gender. You will need to tell Jamie what the theme is (so we can prevent duplications).
Contact Jamie for more information.
Show Closes at 18:00
Some people choose to leave their vehicle on the seafront and wander in to Brighton during the day. While you're welcome to leave your vehicle on Maderia drive after 18:00, at this point the road reverts back to a public car park, and you should ensure that you have a relevant ticket or risk a parking fine from the local authority.
